I’m a Principal lecturer in the school of Art and Design at Prague City University. I teach design theory, research and writing on the Graphic Design and Fine Art Experimental Media courses. I am External Examiner at Edinburgh Napier University for the BDes (Hons) Graphic Design course. I have an MA in New Media and Digital Culture (Utrecht University) and a PhD from the school of Art Design and Architecture (University of Huddersfield).

I write eclectically about design and communication. I’ve written a book with Nick Deakin about everyday graphic designs, it’s called Graphic Events: A Realist Account of Graphic Design. Our next book, available Summer 2025, is Ninety-Nine Graphic Design Workshops: The Way We Attend to Things.
