Graphic Events: This Must be the Place

An online guest talk for Kingston University on the thinking that led to the development of Graphic Events as well at the latest writing projects and the work leading to the next publication on street graphics.

There were a series of very engaging questions, from the undergraduate students,  some of which (certainly not verbatim) were:
Who is your audience for the book, and do you think it is possible to reach an audience beyond design (designers)?

There seems to be a poetic line of thinking in your book, is that an accrate characterisation and how is this manifest in design?

Should designers that make digital, flexible, and reactive design systems try to design out miscommunication? Sometimes it feel like they are trying to script interactions.

Did the themes of uncertainty and process inform the graphic design of the book?
