Crim x Beacons Festival

Bizarro II (Temple Alive with Light) is a collaborative installation involving students and graduates from BA(Hons): Graphic Design, Illustration, Mutlimedia and Costume Design at the University of Huddersfield.

As you enter the neon-soaked temple, you are trafficked into a world of illuminated live drawing and sonic confusion. I programmed the generative and MIDI-synced LED expressions on the small colony of futuristic Crim Collective Androids (see some early tests below).

Bizarro II (Temple Alive with Light) is a living example of a transdisciplinary approach to art and design related practice. It celebrates a student research culture and offers the artists and designers of the future a platform to experience the progressive nature of a critical art and design education.
